Melbourne, Florida, May 21, 2014 – MC Assembly, a leading mid-tier Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, proudly announces that they will be moving to a new facility inside the technology business hub in Melbourne, Fla.

The move will support MC Assembly’s vision of remaining the preeminent America’s based mid-tier Electronics Manufacturing Service provider and will enhance the customer, vendor, and stakeholder experience with MC Assembly, while positioning the business for a strong future.

“We are highly focused on increasing our customer’s through-put in our factories, decreasing waste at all levels of the processes, improving the quality of our products, and increasing our responsiveness to the ever increasing demands being placed upon us,” said George Moore, MC Assembly CEO and President. “MC Assembly’s commitment to offer our stakeholders the best possible work environment, more centrally located to where the majority of our employees live, retaining jobs in central Florida and positioning the company for growth to add more jobs here is also at the core of this move.”

Moore continued: “We have also considered the impact the move would have on our vendors and our intent is to not only maintain our levels of spend in the Florida market, but enable that to increase as we add additional customers to our growing portfolio. The move to the new location will be carefully choreographed to avoid disrupting the flow of finished goods we are committed to ship to our customer base. We do expect to be moved and completely operational in the new facility in early 2015.”

MC Assembly wants to acknowledge the support received from the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, the city of Melbourne, and Brevard County, through the site selection process. The company expects to have a ground breaking ceremony later this year to unveil the new state of the art factory as well as the investments that we will be making in the new facility.
