Our Experience

MC Assembly is an advanced electronics engineering, manufacturing, test and support companies that services the DoD, Agencies, and Defense Prime Contractors. Our core capability includes electronic systems and sub-systems product development, manufacturing and testing of Electronic Warfare, Avionics, Communications and C4ISR that is utilized on airborne, ground and shipboard platforms.

MC Assembly has over 30 years of Turn-Key electronic systems and assemblies experience to domestic and international end users. Our manufacturing experience includes surface mount and through-hole technologies, electronics systems integration, environmental and PRAT/HASS/ESS testing, reliability engineering and life cycle management and sustainment. We have the capability to provide rapid prototyping using 3D printing, design for manufacturing and design for test to model the customer’s product prior to approving production.

MC Assembly has nurtured a culture that includes cross training for employees and LEAN manufacturing processes that guarantees a high quality product that will meet a demanding environment, schedule and budget. Extensive controls are in place providing configuration management for sustaining a product throughout its life cycle. Robust procedures are in place to address parts obsolescence and counterfeit parts avoidance adhering to AS5553.

Each program at MC Assembly has a dedicated Program Manager (PM) who is the point of contact to the customer and is responsible for the successful execution of their respective program. The PM has a dedicated team that supports the program and includes engineering, quality, sub-contracts, purchasing, operations, and configuration management.

MC Assembly is Quality driven and certified to AS9100 Rev. C, ISO-9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, IPC 610A-Class II, III and FAA/PMA.

Manufacturing

Our world class production facilities includes two U.S. operations; Melbourne, FL and Billerica, MA. Each of these facilities have state-of-the-art automated surface mount lines, selective soldering and PTH auto insert equipment. Automated inspection stations include but are not limited to 3D x-ray, flying probes, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment and automated conformal coating systems. Our test stations support RF assemblies/ antennas, communications systems, Mobile Compact Range, Automated Test Equipment for testing at the SRA and LRU level. Our facility has a System Integration Lab as well as Environmental test stations supporting PRAT/HASS/ESS testing, and a Reliability Engineering Lab.

Value management is incorporated by analyzing and cleansing the Bill of Material using automated software tools. We have the ability to provide cost savings by merging economies of scale for system and sub-systems assemblies. These cost savings are realized by utilizing OCM pricing agreements and with the use of in-plant collaboration with AVNET/ARROW/TTI and E-Commerce.
