Global responsibility to the environment and its citizens is a serious issue at MC Assembly. Our commitment to that responsibility started over two years ago before most electronic manufacturing service companies recognized the need to develop a strategy for compliance to the European Directives (EU): Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
Over the years we have worked closely with our customers to develop and improve the process of managing lead-free materials and chemistries that produce high quality, highly reliable, low cost products. Electronic barcode scanning system that verifies manufacturers part number
and any special instructions

Electronic verification assuring an MDF is on file for the manufacturer’s part
numbers at Receiving, Inspection, Stock, Kitting and Replacement part
requisitions
Visual green controls of equipment, lines, stations, product, and labels
First Article Inspection including X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) verification of
components and final product before release
MCA MDF’s issued for each new compliant product produced and at major
revision. (MDF’s issued for printed circuit boards, sub-systems, and systems)
Random XRF auditing of raw materials, Work-in-Process and Finish Goods
